Substitutes for Steinway Factory Hammers

>From attending Steinway presentations at conventions or local dealers,
one can be aware of their most reecnt procedures. Woe to those who
proceed according to usual practice or even the most recent tech zone
they send out periodically. The last I heard the current procedure is
total saturation with lacquer.
