    Excellent information on wood and it's characteristics, a must for people who are gluing and machining wood and similar natural products, it is especially helpful and important to know that different cuts of wood change dimensionally in different amounts and directions. People often ask me "why do some one-piece ivory keyboards have some cracks, and others do not?", if one reads-between-the-lines, this article explains why.
