Powell* Because they're poorly built, erratically notched, sloppily pinned junk with a too soft bridge cap. That's why, and that's after you've put on the jiffy leads to get the front heavy keys to return. Seat the strings as often and as hard as you like on these things. You won't damage or downgrade them any more. I understand they sink readily though, so should make excellent crappie shelters. Ron N
