Kansas City's young jazz pianist, Eldar, will be playing the  
Corporate Woods Jazz Festival, a free outdoor concert, on 6-23 in  
Overland Park, a suburb of KC. (OK, maybe Eldar's mostly outgrown KC,  
but we still claim him.)

The Block addition has opened at the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum! It is

The Kansas City Repertory Theater is producing 2 Pianos, 4 Hands, a  
play about pianos and pianists and playing the piano, at its brand  
new downtown theater, Copaken Stage in the new headquarters of H&R  
Block. It is playing through June 24, 2007. I am told there are still  
tickets available.
