There is a difference between 20 years experience and one year's
experience 20
times...
regards,
Ed Foote RPT
I hate that saying. Yes, there are probably tuners who tune the same way
on each and every piano, year in and year out. But I doubt that that's
most RPT's. I like to think most of us are always trying to improve our
skills, try different temperaments, experiment with different ETD's,
tailor our tunings to the individual piano, etc. etc. If someone implies
I do not actually have 25 years of experience working on pianos, but
merely one year's experience 25 times, I'm insulted, because I know I tune
better and can make a piano sound way better now than I could 25 years
ago.
