Earplug suggestions

I use simple and cheap silicone plugs available at any drug store. They
cover the ear opening and you can adjust the dampening level by how tightly
you pack them. As I come up to octave 7 I'll usually loosen them some to
allow the higher frequencies. 

They work great.
