Hey, brother-----Yes.
1. remove the action; lay it down, support the hammers, and bang on  
the strike point of the hammers you want to bring up with a small  
hammer; bang pretty hard.

2. be JUDICIOUS with ONE drop of 3:1 acetone/lacquer solution in the  
middle string cut of each affected note; wait one hour; drop another  
SINGLE drop in the other string cuts if necessary. There's a massive  
difference between squirting hardener on a hammer and putting a  
single drop on.
