The brazilian process:
Our process to recondition the beauty of bass strings is:
1 - To condition the Bass strings in a pipe of pvc;
2 - To full the pipe with thinner to initiate the cleanness;
3 - To remove thinner and to full with the "clean Brass" (Limpa latão) (an
acid one has led that the dirt of the not ferrous metal will remove all and
will leave a glossy aspect but, however ultraclean
http://www.quimatic.com.br/limpa_latao.htm);
 4 - To burnish dry with the sponges Norton N. 4 and 5. 5 -
To install in the piano with 2 or three turns.
We in such a way carry through this process to one 5 years with extreme
success of noise beauty how much. String can use "bass machine to burnish
the dry one", since that it has possibility to arrest the tip without
kneading.
Been thankful.
