how about? for damper felts

Allan,
         This steinway  damper guy had a little favorite sharp sharp knife,  
He popped a  set of damper felts off in a matter of minutes,  no tears in the 
wood,, and  no sanding needed.  Of course he did it every day or very often 
and who  knows maybe he got them off easily because the original glue was  hide.
