A "mini crock-pot" with water and glue in a baby food jar. A cheap rheostat would keep temp at a given level if the crock pot wasn't just about right. les bartlett _____ From: pianotech-bounces at ptg.org [mailto:pianotech-bounces at ptg.org] On Behalf Of Richard Morgan Sent: Monday, May 21, 2007 7:10 PM To: pianotech at ptg.org Subject: glue pot I went to buy a cheap Fry Daddy at Walmart today to improvise a glue pot, but the plain round model on the shelf was not thermostatically controlled--one heat, to maintain a"perfect frying temp" which is probably 350. Didn't sound appropriate to me. I'm sure others have improvised rather than spend for the glue pot. Any ideas?
