Does anyone have a make, model, or source for the
old-fashioned impact screwdriver mentioned by Susan
Graham (no relation) in her June 1988 and July 2001
Journal article "Grand Leg and Lyre Repair"?
This is not an electric device. It looks like a
thick-handled screwdriver that you whack on top with a
hammer to break loose big, stubborn screws.
Internet searches just bring up the new generation of
electric impact drivers.
