Hi Dave
Thanks for the heart felt & self effacing post. Very thoughtful &
enlightening.
I have found that People are people for the most part & I find when I'm
doing my best to live out of my heart the social/financial distinctions tend
to fade into the background. People by in large like being treated with
kindness & respect no matter who they are. I have worked for many folks of means
and just being your self allows them to do the same. Some truly feel self
conscious about their position of blessing in life. I know ..I've met some. By
in large I have been treated like a visiting prince by all most all of great
means that I've worked for.
As Piano/harpsichord teacher Laurette Goldberg once said. "The arts float
on a sea of money" I try not to forget this.

The truth is, I'm far happier doing what I do now than I ever was living in
a gilded cage. Being an autonomous human being/piano technician is
something you should never take for granted. If you've ever given it up, you'll know
what I mean.

Sorry for the long post. Thanks for reading.

Dave Stahl
