Glenn said: flange screws were hitting on the stretcher board If the fastener on the rest rail has is slotted you might be able to reach in with a long screw driver blade and tighten it. One thing to consider though is if the bottom fastener has migrated lower because of not being locked in place and in which case might force the rail down onto the rear of the wippens. Look at the behind the stretcher to see if it is screwed to the plate. I've seen some stretchers which have to be removed in order to get the action out.
