Gene:

Prof.Thump and Paul McCloud have the solution 
for you. You must treat these flanges as if they 
are Verdigris contaminated. If changing parts is 
not a solution, then you have to flush them 
out..and Hawaiian Blees has a good idea 
too...let the client know someone did SOMETHING 
to this action..you're trying to rectify it.
