Alan Barnard Salem, MO ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Original message From: Farrell To: pianotech at ptg.org Received: 11/29/2007 4:57:58 PM Subject: Upright Hammer Spring Replacement It's been a couple years since I've replaced all the hammer butt springs on a vertical. I need to give a guy an estimate. I looked in Joe Garrett's labor guide and it says four hours. Seems to me it took me a lot longer than that - but maybe I'm slow - and besides, my memory ain't what it used to be (I think). Any opinions on labor time once the action is in my shop? Thanks.
