I tuned a Weber grand w/ Duo-Art yesterday, c.1928.

The high treble bridge cap had hairline cracks with the grain angle
at the opposite angle from Ron's Knabe.  So there was at least one other.
I've seen Knabe caps with the grain running 90 degrees, not 45.

I got side-tracked talking to the owner and forgot to check the other sections
of the bridge for grain orientation but there were no prominent cracks to draw
my attention.
