For a quickie repair on an old clunker use the two glue method. Clean both surfaces. Apply a thin coating of PVC-E glue to the key, let get tacky. Apply a few small beads of CA on the ivory and press together. Instant and somewhat lasting. CA alone is too rigid of a bond and will release within a year.
