David teaches a class on this method. It takes an entire day to make a really good pattern but after that it's a life time pattern. It's worth it to us to do mdels we do commonly. Like Stwy & Mason & Hamlin Models.  they use some type of tin or metal pattern in the Stwy factory. By looking at there various models they either wear out or they have the same bit drift I was describing.

With a Bridge pin locator template made as accurately as does David Hughes, with his method, it's difficult to go far wrong. I'm thinking that I'll also go back to the Fuller provided long brad points to eliminate any wander.  Maybe get the ole bi-focal tweaked up a bit as well. grin

I’ve seen this alluded to in other posts. Can you give us more info on the David Hughes method and where to get more info?
