Hi...

I'm afraid the work you ask for will exceed the value of the Bauer in Cost effectiveness of the project and the final outcome.

My first recommendation is..."Don't.

We have acquired a Julius Bauer 5'5" grand in need of restringing, including block, full action work, keybushings and keytops and refinishing. My limited research shows the value of a rebuilt, refinished Bauer to be quite a differing spread. I found a 4'10" for $13,000 in Tennesee and a 5'5" "with new strings" for $2700 in New York.
I decided I would check with the real experts, any thoughts?

  Mike
