<< This was all done based on nothing more than an intuitive approach and what seemed to work. I'm going back to touch up the string repairs and re-tune the piano. Hopefully armed with knowledge from someone out there with experience. >> At North Bennett, we were taught to tune these by bringing the pitch up from below, and using a test blow to raise them the last cent or two. I don't know if that is the best way, but it was the only way I have seen it done, accurately.
