Customer Database

That's an interesting and useful design, thanks for sharing it Scott. The
one thing I would suggest changing is the relationship between Bookings and
Invoices which I believe needs to be many-to-many, using an intermediate
table, since one invoice normally can involve more than one appointment.

If anyone is developing their own database, there is a data model (schema)
available at:
http://www.databaseanswers.org/data_models/piano_tuners/index.htm
http://www.databaseanswers.org/data_models/piano_tuners/piano_tuners_with_at
tributes_print_version.htm

This design was at the request of Robin Stevens, and made available to
members of the Australasian Piano Tuners Ass. Robin may care to comment on
it's usefulness or otherwise.

Subject: Customer Database

Hi guys. I've been talking to my brother-in-law (who is a programmer) about
creating a customer database for my business. It would of course have all
the usual fields concerning customer information, piano information and date
the piano was last tuned.

Has anyone seen a piece of software like this? I don't want to reinvent the
wheel.
