Attached is a .doc file with my procedure. I've done a number of these on spec pianos, did one last week. Figure 6 to 8 hours. I take this opportunity to file the hammers so they will mate to the strings. I also taper the tails to insure clearance and I think the tone is improved a bit with a lighter hammer.
