Willem you can't be serious. We are able to hate or love anything we wish to. I love flowers buildings and tons of things that are inanimate objects. Is that any different to hating things that annoy you or test your sanity, like a car that constantly gives you trouble. Give us a break.

I don't understand how you can "hate" a piano. It's an inanimate object without feelings or emotions. What has it done to you?
Now, if the piano is beyond repair, and just not worth working on. I gently tell the customer that the life span of a piano is 75 - 100 years, after which it it not worth it to repair any more. I then tell them "I am authorized to give the piano last rites."
If it's the customer you "hate", I would just tell them I prefer not to work for you anymore.

What words are used to tell a customer you hate their piano and don't want to work on it anymore?
