That's fun, isn't it? I had to tune in the art museum here yesterday in the "grand hall"! It was like Union Station in KC (if you haven't visited that, folks, near the Crown Plaza, it's a great thing to see)....It was nearly impossible to hear anything! Every time you try to tune a note....the frequencies from where you are to where you want just echo on and on! Millions of frequencies....actually approaching an infinate # of frequencies! Remember when your math teacher in junior high talked about halfing a distance?... You never get there!! We should be testing under 'normal" conditions. which include, but are not limited to: TV blaring right next to the piano, kids screaming, the garbage truck going down the street, and backing up, lawn mowing, dishes being washed in the next room, and the ceiling fan going. At least that's what the conditions were this morning. If anyone can tune a piano with all that going on, then he should be qualified as an RPT. Happy Holidays everyone.
