[pianotech] Order Compensation?

David,

Thanks for the wishes. I will let you know I decided not to pursue any compensation. The new hammers are correct and will be easier to work with. I learned a great deal about deadlines and schedules. I am happy to report that the owner of the piano and manager of the company understood the situation (the West Texas attitude, pleasant and easy going). I put the piano back together and they are able to use it during this busy time. In a week I will be able to start the job and complete it without the pressure of time and performances. Thanks for replying, I was feeling a bit overlooked. Too much focus with ETD tunings vs. Aural tuning. I will say I went to a tuning yesterday and left my Cybertuner at home (accidentally). Thankfully it was a nice 7 foot Baldwin which was not to far flat. I and my client were pleased with the results and the tuning took about an hour and a half. Reality is, there are going to be times when we must all tune aurally like it or not.

Thanks again and best wishes,
