Hi Will, If damping was improved with the new felt then likely you should continue on with the other damper felts. During the changeover, you may have inadvertently changed the weight of the damper leavers (friction or actual weight). As a diagnostic tool, use squeeze split lead to add a little weight to each damper wire and of course make sure you have plenty of follow.
