Public Domain Books

Don, I don't know what to tell you.

I am using Firefox, and when I click on the second link below (the one that
does NOT include "pgis=1" at the end), I come to the page that displays
Spillane's book at the top left corner, with two buttons directly below the
illustration ("Read this book" and "Download PDF").

So, let's try this: click here
http://books.google.com/books?id=Qr4xAAAAMAAJ and see what happens. If you
can't read the entire link on one line, resize your email screen until you
can (it shouldn't matter, but let's control all the variables we can, eh?).

If that doesn't work, go to either www.publicdomainreprints.org or
http://books.google.com and fill in the appropriate info in the appropriate
fields to get you to the book you want. I don't believe it's
country-specific, although that's an interesting possibility.

Annie
