I am the piano technician for a school district in NE Houston, TX. At one of the high schools there is a Pearl River grand where the sustain pedal must have been played as if it were the pedal of a bass drum. The pin that supports the damper tray on its right end is broken in two. Can anyone explain how 1) to remove the tray, 2) how to extract the broken piece from the block attached to the tray itself. Thanks, Martin Wisenbaker, RPT Houston, Texas
