Am I passing up potential income by not offering to replace it. I am sure that I can learn how to do it...but how difficult is it? Do I need special tools? What I started to say is it usually doesn't make financial sense, but would you be interested in acquiring the skills for better pianos? If so, don't worry about the cost - go ahead and jump in. The hardest part is making a flat joint, while working between struts, if you aren't removing the whole bridge. Anyone with the skills to do this doesn't need to send the bridge away for duplication - that's the fun and easy part. If you don't have any interest in woodworking, just go with the epoxy repair.
