Alan, Alan, Alan,

Shame, shame, shame!!

That is a waste of good kerosene! Tree huggers will decry the 
unnecessarily large footprint of that process.  That match will do the 
job (albeit, more slowly) if you just light a wippen. You will then see 
the real inner glow of the alleged instrument.

If you really MUST have accelerated action, remember that a spoonful of 
acetone makes the Winter thing go down...
