oooops...I sent the message below on the third to the wrong address. Going tomorrow on (Wednesday the 8th) to try out some of these suggestions. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Steve Blasyak <atuneforyou at gmail.com> Date: Fri, Apr 3, 2009 at 12:29 AM Subject: Young Chang action noise To: pianotech-owner at ptg.org Hey Now, Thanks Jon, Tom, Wim and James for all of your suggestions. James, for reasons I explained, I don't think it is the regulation buttons. I have replaced these in the past as well. I think I have a few extras laying around. I intend to bring a few spares with me next week to verify one way or the other. The rep springs and voicing the whipp cushions are on my list of things to try. Jon, the back rail cloth is glued on correctly. I can slip a ruler under the felt. It is glued only on the forward edge (toward the pianist). It also has a thin layer of softer felt under the back rail cloth. I'll go back next week and take another look. Thanks again. Anyone else got any ideas? I'm off to Vegas.
