I just wanted to comment on the philosophical aspect of many of these pianotech threads. I use gmail, and as someone last year suggested, label each conversation with labels such as "Repair," "Geometry," "Hammers," etc. and "Philosophy!" It is amazing how many of these threads get the philosophy label.
