You guys give too easily.  I sold a Whurley 4' butterfly for 16,000.  Had to put in a player, refinish and have a player put in.  There is a market for unusual.

        How is $2,500 reasonable even if it got new strings and action parts?

        I vaguely remember a discussion very recently (I believe I started it), about doing thousands of dollars of work only to have the instrument remain in the "next to nothing" price range.

          If it has new strings and a new action parts, the price is actually very reasonable. I've not seen one like this, either.
