What a person wants to sell a piano for, and what it's "worth" are not always the same. We don't know, but maybe the person selling it is in dire need of funds, and even though he/she might have spent mega bucks to have the work done, right now he needs $2500.

But this is what we've been talking about. We need to make sure the customer understands that even after spending (let's say) $10,000 to repair a piano, it might still only be worth $2500. For some people, it's worth spending that kind of money on a?"heirloom" piano. Others will put that money towards another piano.

How is $2,500 reasonable even if it got new strings and action parts?

?

I vaguely remember a discussion very recently (I believe I started it), about doing thousands of dollars of work only to have the instrument remain in the "next to nothing" price range.

If it has new strings and a new action parts, the price is actually very reasonable. I've not seen one like this, either.

List,

If this thing was $250 instead of $2500 I'd buy it . 30+ years and I have not seen this model. Check out the double lid.
