Of course. Same as working with CA glue, Epoxy, lacquer, driving a car, flying in a plane, mouthing off in a pub, etc., etc., etc. Many of the things we do as technicians are hazardous without proper precaution. When using Poly, I "always" use a respirator when mixing and pouring the liquid. Once it's set (about 5 minutes from when you start mixing it) no more fumes, no more respiratory issues. William R.
