[pianotech] Rebuild

I service quite a few Ivers, grands and uprights. The uprights are among
some of the best examples of American made pianos of the vintage era.
Excellent build quality and some really nice cases and veneers. Big bass
sound. I could never really fathom the lost motion compensator feature. I
think that it just adds to some action noise. They do seem to hold up well
through the years. I have a 1917 upright as my own piano. It will be a
wonderful instrument when it gets the work it needs. ( Cobblers shoes.) It
is a beautiful example of a four way book matched front board. The grands
are just a bit above average IMO.
