Of course, we string players are blessed(?) with the ability to temper our intervals as we go. Playing with a pianist has its own set of challenges. Tuning for a chamber ensemble (piano & strings)? Well now, let's keep the family happy. My hat is always off to the artists who wield the tuning lever.
