  Subject: [pianotech] Baldwin Pianovelle GPS2600

   Greetings -

Came upon one of the above critters for the first time a couple days back; a 'digital grand piano' with the Baldwin name (as in the subject line) but with the info adhered to the underside clearly stating this was made in Italy by 'General Music'. Weirdly non-musical, IMO...

I am looking for parts for this beast, as the sustain pedal lies 'limp' due to a broken compression spring. I borrowed the spring from the middle pedal to get them by until I can locate a replacement. I have googled the heck outta this model and in a very roundabout way coughed up the name Artie Specht at the General Music offices in Chicago as a contact for parts. The number I have called (with no results yet) is 630-766-8230.

Anyone have any current info that may be helpful in procuring one of these return springs?

  Thanks!

  Mark Potter
