Hi Mark, Other techs from my area had similar results of rebreaking as well but not to the severity of what I've encountered. I was doing 3 times as many as they were too though because I was always so busy. Yes, I have replaced many sets since that time however, I stopped using the plastic ones because of it. I had far to many times where I had to replace the complete set again for nothing. That is my main reason for deciding to use the wooden ones instead. I suppose the manufacturer may have since corrected the problem. I have in the past 10 years decided to no longer do those sorts of jobs. I do not need the work and pass it along to those that will do it instead. They admitted they were having "issues with them" Gerald - Is it possible that the snippet above might possibly be a source of explanation for the obvious disparity of results regarding the use of the Vagias elbows? You alone seem to have had catastrophic results, while no one else (including myself) seemingly has ever seen one fail. Perhaps 25 years ago they were having issues, I can't remember ;-) Just wondering, for the sake of clarity: have you used the Vagias elbows at all in the last 20 years? I have been at this 32 years, and while I cannot with any accuracy state when I first started using the Vagias elbows, I have experienced 100% success with them as long as I have been using them. In addition, I have never encountered a failure from anyone else's installation. Weird... Mark Potter _____ avast! Antivirus <http://www.avast.com> : Outbound message clean.
