[pianotech] hot glue gun?

I’ve used it to tack down plate felt so it won’t move while I’mstringing.  It’s not strong and is only good to keep something in place temporarily.

Just curious to know if anyone has ever used a hot glue gun( the kind with the little glue sticks ) for any application in piano repair.
