If you planed the surface, apply a thinned coat of glue and let it dry as a sizing. I use Bolduc Wood glue for this. To glue on the new keytop, spread on the PVC-E and allow it to develop a slight tack. Press the plastic down and align. No need to clamp unless it has the molded front and does not conform.
