Hi, Julia.

Could you describe the situation more, please? Is the quintet on a
stage, and how high? Is the audience seated, and how many? Is there a
house sound system for the audience? Will the band be hearing each other
directly (acoustically) or through a monitor system, or will their stage
amps double as monitors and mains? Is the mike for the piano going into
a mixing board, or just a stage amp? What kinds of mikes are available?
These answers will help focus the response.
