?Hi ? Last week there was a discussion about spruce quality,color,grain count etc. A few asked off list to see one of the panels I referred to. The one pictured was just glued in yesterday & has it's final gloss coats of lacquer applied. Rub out Manana. This board was made from some?to the really wide reddish planks with a grain count of roughly 22 grains an inch. The two planks in the middle are 9 & 11 inches wide?make up at least half the entire panel. ?It's much prettier now that is under clear gloss lacquer. The reddish color is diminished.?The grain really pops and hopefully the tone will as well.?I'll post the other requested pics of the?other panels?glued up recently.
