I consider my self?a full time piano tuner,?even though?my work schedule is only part time. I don't?have another source of income. Does that make me a part timer, or an?underpaid full timer.?

There should not be any difference between full and part time tuners when it comes to ability, skill, and ethics.

What do you think about the ethics and the efficacy of doing piano tuning
and repair as a part-time business when a person has another source of
income?

There is a view that if you are not tuning full-time you will not maintain
your skill at a high enough level.

Best regards,

David.
