And immediate needs are immediate needs, too. :-) So one month's gift now, then maybe some charitable organizational giving in the months to come. I'd suggest finding out if he's part of a church. Gifts could be made to the church, which could then pass them on to him. Other arrangements surely can be made in a month's time, but let's not let deducting a few bucks prevent us from present needs. I've been on the receiving end with my wife's terminal cancer in 2004. It's a great relief not to worry about income when all the medical stuff is going on. A great mind easer that I will never forget.
