Altering back scale bearing is done by moving the alaquots?
Altering back scale bearing is done depending on the system. Bearing can be
changed simply by adding or subtracting felt on the bearing bar in lesser
pianos. Moving the aliquots toward the bridge increases bearing and the
reverse decreases bearing. Grinding off aliquots to alter bearing is possible.
Building up aliquots is also possible. Lots of ways to work with the back
bearing.
