[pianotech] Slow drop fallboard hinge for YC

Sorry folks, the Kawai parts are not for sale.

They would also be a bit tricky to install without having the factory
milling machines to cut the ends of the fallboards just right.

While I like Jurgens quite a bit, it did require some chiseling. If Kawai
makes one for their pianos, you might want to look at that - just because
the hinges are similar - maybe the Kawai unit would require less wood
chopping.

I installed my Jurgen unit on an 1895 Knabe grand.

Kawai has them, (I had to replace one), but they are for their pianos, I
don't know if they would work on a YC. You might want to give them a call.

I called YC and the person I spoke to (I think it was John Chang) said they
don't have them in stock, nor do they sell them. Any ideas on how I can get
a slow drop fallboard hinge for a Young Chang G-150 would be greatly
appreciated.

I need a slow drop fallboard hinge for a Young Chang. Is this something you
can only get directly from them?

If so, does anyone have the number for their parts dept?

Thanks,
