A C3 has 3 or 4 brass screws that have to be removed. Then the whole caster/socket assembly can be removed. The casters do NOT pry out. An institution that I tune for just put their new Yamaha C3 on a spider (Y shaped) dolly. They were unable to remove the wheels from the piano, but put it on with the wheels intact. When I arrived they asked me if they should remove the wheels and how to do it. I told them yes, they should remove the wheels to get correct pedal height(and safety) and they could remove the wheels by prying them out of the leg with a big screwdriver. Tell me I'm right. (No screws etc.)? The customer has since left town (Cruiseship) so I can't get back to them if I'm wrong. Phil Ryan Miami Beach
