Hi Lefty, et al, Yes, there is a Second Edition and it is part of the popular correspondence course previously mentioned. It's a very good reference source and I use it often. It is part of the curriculum in a popular correspondence course. It is available from Schaff Piano Supply and other supply houses, and perhaps on Amazon or other online booksellers. I think there is a second edition out. Some of the information is a little dated, and the tuning instructions are hard to follow. There are better tuning instructions available from the Piano Technicians Guild. If you aren't a member, I would recommend joining. You'll learn a lot. As far as other books, I'll leave that to others, as there are many. The Reblitz book is probably the most popular of all. Reblitz ) 1976. I would love to have an overall technician manual such as this, that addresses all manner of common piano repairs, etc. Have any of you used this book, or do you have other books you would recommend that have been helpful to you?
