Gives new meaning to "belly rail". The piano was hungry, so it took a bite when the player wasn't looking...

I once pulled an action on a piano that hadn’t been serviced in over 30 years. Laying on the back of the keys, where you would normally find the usual pencils, was a hot dog with a bite taken out of the end of it. It was so shrunken and dried out that it took me a moment to figure out what it was. Her children are my age, so it had been in there for decades. I should have kept it.
